Data Retention Policy:
CDX retains data for a limited period of time to facilitate sending corrections, subsequent transactions, and providing current information; however, CDX is not intended to be a permanent data storage location for carrier data. In order to reduce costs to the industry and deliver the best experience possible, CDX deletes older data on a daily basis utilizing the following rules:
PEEP
Policies that have an expiration date older than 2 years and an entry date older than 2 years
BEEP
USRs that meet the following criteria:
- Have a most recent submission date that is older than 3 years, or
- Have not been submitted and have an entry date older than 3 years
EXR
Ratings that have an expiration date older than 2 years and an issue date older than 2 years
